Important Notice to Northern Ireland and The Republic of Ireland customers
Due to circumstances beyond our control we are currently unable to offer delivery of any of our products to addresses in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. This is a temporary situation which we hope will be resolved shortly
The terms & conditions set out below apply to the supply of goods or services from www.hailo-shop.co.uk to you the customer, and by ordering, you agree to be bound by them.
No part of these terms & conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
When you place an order, it will be treated as an offer by you to purchase. www.hailo.co.uk reserve the right to accept or not accept any orders at our discretion. Dispatch of your goods will signify our acceptance of your order and will constitute a legally binding contract between us the seller and you the purchaser under these terms & conditions.
All prices and delivery charges shown on www.hailo-shop.co.uk exclude VAT.
Please note that all payments are processed through Secure Trading. We do not hold any customer financial information. A full receipt will be emailed to you at the time of dispatch.
www.hailo-shop.co.uk understands that a quick efficient delivery is expected by all of our customers and most goods are either dispatched on the same day as the order is received or on the next working day (stock dependant).
If you have ordered an item which is unlikely to be with you within 7 working days you will be informed either by telephone or email within 24hrs of placing the order.
Please note our free delivery service applies to Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm. Free delivery is not available to the Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands. Before noon deliveries or before 10.30am deliveries are available. However, we have to make an extra charge for these premium services which will vary depending on the product purchased. Please contact our sales team on 01639849847 for more details.
When your goods arrive we advise that you check that the items are in good condition and the quantity of items received corresponds to the quantity that you are signing for. However, you are not legally required to do so and it does not affect your statutory rights. The risk in goods does not pass to the buyer until they have had reasonable time to inspect them. In the unlikely event that your goods have been damaged in transit, if possible refuse the delivery and contact our sales team immediately in order that we may dispatch a replacement quickly and minimise your inconvenience.
Please inform us as soon as possible of any shortages so that we may take the matter up with our couriers and trace the missing items.
www.hailo-shop.co.uk will not be held liable for any consequential losses; damages or expenses incurred by you the customer or any third party arising directly or indirectly out of late or non-delivery of your order or part thereof.
Title and risk in the goods shall pass to you the purchaser once you have had reasonable time to inspect the delivery.
If for whatever reason you wish to return an item, you must inform us in writing or by email within 14 working days of the receipt of the goods. The 14 day cooling off period starts the day after receipt of the goods and excludes weekends and bank holidays. www.hailo-shop.co.uk requests that goods are returned undamaged and in a saleable condition (unused, original packaging and all accessories) within 14 days of your notice to return. Items that are not received in a saleable condition will not be refunded in full. All cost associated with an unwanted item are to be paid by the customer. We cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged returns so please ensure the goods are insured for transit. If any goods are damaged in transit you will have to pursue a claim with the courier.
The customer will be responsible for the return carriage when goods are not faulty. If the customer asks www.hailo-shop.co.uk to collect the goods this will be arranged at the customer’s cost. The customer is obliged to take reasonable care ensuring that the goods are returned in good condition and not damaged in transit.
You may cancel your order at any time prior to dispatch by phone or email quoting your order number. If the goods have been dispatched then the customer is responsible for the cost of the return of the goods.
All our products have a manufacturer’s warranty covering faulty materials and faulty workmanship but not general wear and tear. www.hailo-shop.co.uk is a reseller of Hailo products and not the manufacturer. Warranties are therefore subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions. In general, warranties vary depending on the item and information on warranties can be found on the product label.
If an item develops a fault after the 28 day cooling-off period then your item should be covered by the warranty. We would require the item to be sent back to ourselves for a warranty repair. We will not under any circumstances offer a full refund after the cooling off period. If your item develops a fault and your warranty has expired we will do our best to arrange a repair for you if we can (subject to parts being available) but this is not guaranteed and will be chargeable to you the customer.
We will not be held liable for any consequential losses; damages or expenses incurred by you the customer or any third party arising directly or indirectly from any product.
www.hailo-shop.co.uk will assist you in dealing with a warranty claim although we are not directly responsible for any product.
